Oil Pressure and Temperature Sensor

The AMP EFI LDM-899403 is a versatile combo sensor that accurately monitors both oil pressure and temperature simultaneously, crucial for performance and reliability in modern engines. Constructed with a diffused silicon, oil-filled sensor element and an ASIC chip, the LDM-899403 offers robust performance and durability. It is rated for oil pressures up to 100 psi and temperatures up to 500°F. The sensor provides a standard 0.5V to 4.5V output signal for pressure, with a high accuracy of 0.5% for full scale. Its compact design and 1/8" NPT thread make installation straightforward. Included with the sensor is an 8.5-foot flying lead, offering ample length to connect to your ECU or data logger. The manufacturer highly recommends adding a Deutsch DTM connector for a secure and reliable connection, especially in high-vibration environments. The sensor features distinct wiring for its functions: RED for 5-volt supply, BLACK for negative sensor ground, YELLOW for the pressure signal, WHITE for negative sensor ground (secondary), and GREEN for the signal wire to the ECU. Detailed scaling charts for both FUELTECH and general temperature readings are provided to aid in setup and calibration with various ECUs.
