Overview

The Volkswagen oil pump is a heavy-duty component designed to increase engine oil pressure by 30% and lower operating temperature. Its gears are 1" long, a 1/4" longer than stock, to help the engine run cooler for longer periods. This oil pump is an easy, bolt-on installation with no drilling or tapping required. It is compatible with all VW engines from 1961 and later, with specific mounting hole options for different model years.

Its installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling or tapping, allowing for a simple bolt-on application. This oil pump is suitable for all Volkswagen engines manufactured from 1961 onwards. For models from 1968 and later, it utilizes 8mm mounting holes, while earlier models use 6mm holes. The product is also noted as not being compatible with Auto Stick transmissions.
