This oil pump assembly is specified for a range of GM trucks and SUVs from 2014-2020. It is compatible with models such as the Cadillac Escalade (2015-2020) with 6.2L engines, Chevrolet Express (2018-2020) with 4.3L engines, Chevrolet Silverado (2014-2019) with 4.3L, 5.3L, and 6.2L engines, Chevrolet Suburban (2015-2020) with 5.3L and 6.2L engines, Chevrolet Tahoe (2015-2020) with 5.3L and 6.2L engines, GMC Savana (2018-2020) with 4.3L engines, GMC Sierra (2014-2019) with 4.3L, 5.3L, and 6.2L engines, and GMC Yukon (2015-2020) with 5.3L and 6.2L engines. Installation involves specific procedures depending on the engine and model. For V8 engines, it's important to use special tools like EN-51257 and EN-51267 during removal and installation to ensure proper alignment and prevent the need for a new pump. The process includes removing the oil pan, unfastening retaining bolts, and carefully sliding the pump off the crankshaft. After installation, the engine should be filled with oil and coolant, then run to check for leaks and verify oil pressure. The item dimensions are 12.2 x 11.2 x 9.5 inches and it weighs 8.60 pounds.
