Oil Pump Components

By enlarging the oil pump reservoirs and critical oil passages, this camplate ensures optimal lubrication for the lifters, piston cooling jets, crankshaft, and rod bearings. This improved oil circulation leads to a substantial reduction in engine temperatures, reportedly dropping them by 20-35 degrees Fahrenheit compared to stock, Screamin Eagle, or other aftermarket camplates. Constructed from 7075 billet aluminum, this camplate is 50% harder and stronger than factory and other aftermarket options. This superior material provides increased strength and hardness, maintaining tighter tolerances under heat and eliminating flexing, thereby negating the need for bronze bushings due to its inherent bearing-like properties. The camplates are blueprinted and precisely matched to Feuling® oil pumps, allowing the Twin Cam® engine to fully benefit from the increased volume, resulting in cooler and quieter engine operation. Additional features include a tighter cam bearing bore tolerance for an improved press fit and an added cam journal oil groove for enhanced cold start protection and lubrication, along with oil pressure feed holes to prevent excessive thrusting wear. It requires the use of Feuling® oil pumps #7060 or #7062. When paired with a Feuling® Race Series Oil Pump, rear wheel power gains of up to 3 horsepower and 4 ft-lbs of torque have been achieved. The camplates are pressure tested, and the pressure relief valve and spring are pre-set for the increased volume and pressure, eliminating the need for adjustments. This HIGH FLOW Camplate fits Harley-Davidson TC engines from 2007-2017, including 2006 Dyna models. For gear drive cam systems, block-off plates (Feuling #8016) are required.
