Description

The Melling 20-IS1 is an engine oil pump pickup tube and screen assembly. It provides lubrication oil and protects the oil pump from contaminants found in the engine oil supply system. These contaminants can enter through engine wear, extended oil change intervals, or other internal engine sources. Melling recommends installing a new oil pump pickup tube/screen with every oil pump installation to prevent damage and/or failure caused by improper oil flow and pressure spring functions.
