Oil Separator Passenger Side

The JLT Performance JLT-3030P-B is a passenger side oil separator engineered to mitigate the detrimental effects of oil vapor contamination in your engine's intake system. As crankcase pressure is vented back through the intake, significant amounts of oil in vapor form can accumulate in intake tubes and manifold runners. This oil can dilute your fuel, thereby lowering its octane level, a problem exacerbated in forced induction (supercharged and turbocharged) engines due to increased crankcase pressures. Constructed from solid billet aluminum, this oil separator is built for durability and a secure fit. It features a knurled tank base for convenient removal during maintenance and an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free operation. The multi-stage filtration process begins with a fine mesh stainless steel screen that captures oil vapors. As these trapped vapors coalesce, they become heavy enough to fall into the collection tank. Further filtration is provided by a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter, which encourages larger droplet formation for effective collection. The JLT 3.0 oil separator has a capacity of 3 oz. While this may seem small, it indicates that excessive oil accumulation in the PCV system is being prevented. Regular draining, recommended every 2000-3000 miles, ensures the system remains effective without overfilling. This oil separator is designed for specific Ford Mustang models, including the GT and GT350 variants from 2015-2020, and is also compatible with Whipple supercharged applications.
