The BMC Air Filter (FB521/20) is a high-performance, reusable air filter engineered to replace the restrictive stock filter in select Mercedes-Benz AMG models. Constructed with a unique "Full Moulding" system, the BMC filter features a single-mold construction with no welded joints, enhancing durability. The filtration medium consists of multiple layers of cotton gauze, soaked in a low-viscosity oil, and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This combination allows for a "sticky" characteristic that effectively traps air impurities as small as 7 microns, while maintaining a much lower airflow pressure drop than paper filters. Its filtration efficiency reaches 98.5%, ensuring superior engine protection and improved performance.
