The PRL Motorsports Panel Filter is engineered as a direct, drop-in replacement for your vehicle's factory paper air filter. The construction utilizes oiled, double-layered woven cotton media, reinforced with a robust stainless steel mesh to resist collapse under demanding conditions. A flexible rubber base ensures a precise and airtight seal, preventing air leaks. This filter provides a significant advantage with 25% more surface area compared to leading competitors. According to PRL Motorsports' in-house Dynojet testing on a stock 2019 5.0L F-150, this panel filter delivered average gains of +3.32 hp and +6.13 lb-ft of torque, with peak gains at 4000 RPM reaching +8.16 hp and +10.76 lb-ft. This PRL Motorsports Panel Filter is intended for a wide range of Ford vehicles, including the F-150 from 2011-2025 (excluding the Raptor R), and the Expedition/Navigator from 2007-2025. It also fits the F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 models with gas engines from 2008-2016. Please be aware that this product is not legal for sale or use in California on any emission-controlled motor vehicle, as it has not completed the testing or CARB EO submission process for compliance in that state.
