The Kangaroo teams OM606 T3 Twin Scroll Cast Iron turbo Manifold is a key component for enhancing the performance of OM606 engines, whether in drift competition cars or high-powered G-Wagens. This manifold is engineered with high performance in mind, featuring a dependable and durable twin-scroll design with smooth transitions and ample crossection to minimize backpressure. Key specifications include fitment for both OM606 turbo and N/A versions, a T3 twin scroll turbo flange, and a casting weight of up to 9kg, positioning it as potentially the lightest aftermarket twin scroll manifold available. The runner transitions are smoothly shaped from oval to circle, and the turbine flange offers a smooth gas entry, avoiding the sharp bends found in some adapters. This design ensures optimal flow to the turbocharger. Designed for a variety of Mercedes chassis, including W201, W202, W124, W210, and G-Class vehicles, this manifold provides ample clearance for the chassis, coolant tank, and engine bay. Clearance has been tested with significant turbine sizes such as the Holset HX35, BorgWarner 257/362, and Garrett GT35. It includes a 3-bolt wastegate flange with a 48mm surface area and comes with a gasket, block flange for internal wastegate turbos, and a flange ready for a 50x2 tube weld. An optional Wastegate Relocation Addon is available to reduce interference in smaller chassis like the E30. Important considerations include the different gasket patterns for turbo and N/A OM606 engines, requiring careful tightening to avoid stress on the manifold's cylinder head flange. Warranty claims for cracked manifolds will not be honored without a flexible coupling on the downpipe. For heavy turbochargers like the Holset HX35/HX40, using a turbo support brace is advised. Buyers agree to waive liability for consequential damages due to the high-performance nature of the intended use.
