Omega V2 102mm Titanium Intake

The Gas Omega V2 102mm Titanium Intake is engineered to significantly improve airflow for EA839 2.9T/3.0T engines, particularly those equipped with larger hybrid turbochargers. This system boasts the largest intake diameter available for the platform at 102mm (4 inches), incorporating an integrated titanium velocity stack and a GAS high-flow 5-inch air filter to optimize air delivery. Constructed from CP1 titanium, this intake offers superior thermal properties with a heat transfer rate of 16 W/m-K, substantially lower than aluminum, which helps maintain cooler intake temperatures critical for power production in turbocharged engines. The titanium's high strength-to-weight ratio allows for thinner tubing, resulting in a larger internal diameter and a 5% increase in intake area compared to a similar aluminum intake. This results in a lighter component with enhanced rigidity. This intake system is designed to unlock the potential of the EA839 engine, producing a more aggressive and audible turbocharger and blow-off valve sound. Dyno-proven gains of up to +19bhp/+40btq have been recorded on Stage 1 setups compared to the stock intake, with earlier boost onset and reduced stress on the turbocharger due to a lower compressor wheel pressure ratio. Higher gains of +46hp have been observed on a Stage 3 Pure750 setup when used with a 3.5-inch turbo inlet. A critical compatibility note: This intake is exclusively for aftermarket turbo inlets and will NOT work with stock 2.75-inch inlets. The system includes the 102mm titanium intake tube with integrated velocity stack, a 4-ply reinforced silicone 4"-3.5" reducer, all necessary hardware, the GAS high-flow 5.0" cone filter, and a heat shield/air guide.
