This Omix-ADA steel body tub (MPN: DMC-680637) is designed for 1955-1969 Jeep CJ5 models. It is constructed from 18 gauge steel for the front and rear flooring, mounting brackets, top cowl assembly, and wheel housings, with 16 gauge steel used for the side and tail panels. The manufacturing process includes a seven-step metal preparation, featuring a 5-bath dip to eliminate rust, dirt, and grease, followed by a phosphate and acid rinse for corrosion resistance and primer adhesion. It includes all major factory mounting locations and channels for body mounting. Dashes and shifter tunnels are left blank in some applications for varied OE locations.
