Fuel Pump Mechanical Rear Inlet Fitting 1974-1979 CJ5 OMIX

The OMIX-ADA 17709.06 is a mechanical fuel pump designed for Jeep CJ and YJ models from 1974-1990. It is compatible with vehicles equipped with 232 or 258 6-cylinder engines, and CJ models from 1983-1986 with AMC 4-cylinder engines. This fuel pump features a rear inlet fitting and includes a mounting gasket.

Note that for 1987-1990 YJ models, the stock fuel pump has an inlet facing the grille, while this replacement pump's inlet faces the firewall, similar to CJ applications. Modification of the stock fuel line or the use of a longer rubber hose may be required for proper connection. This is a new, not remanufactured, fuel pump.
