On-Car Adjustable Panhard Bar

The UMI Performance 2022 is a heavy-duty, on-car adjustable panhard bar, engineered as a direct replacement for the stock stamped panhard bar in 1982-2002 GM F-Body vehicles, including the Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. This upgrade provides increased strength and critical rear-end adjustment capabilities. This panhard bar is essential for properly centering the rear axle, especially after lowering the vehicle, and can aid in achieving the necessary clearance for larger tire fitments. Its unique design features an adjustable double adjuster that allows for on-car adjustments without removing the component, achieved by loosening two jam nuts. Constructed from 1.250" x .095" DOM steel tubing, this panhard bar is precision TIG welded for maximum durability. It incorporates a CNC machined 4140 heat-treated CrMo adjuster and a 4130 CrMo threaded tube adapter. The combination of a 3/4" hard chrome plated, Teflon/Kevlar self-lubricating race rod end and greaseable polyurethane bushings minimizes rear-end bind while maintaining ride quality, making it suitable for both street and drag applications. Additionally, it improves rear stability, controls side movement, and reduces body flex. The bar measures 43" nominally from center to center. Installation is designed to be straightforward, utilizing OEM hardware and estimated to take approximately 20 minutes. The panhard bar features a durable powder coat finish and is manufactured in the USA. Note that hardware is not included with this component.
