The UMI Performance 2029 adjustable panhard bar is engineered to replace the stock stamped unit on 1982-2002 GM F-Body vehicles, including Chevrolet Camaros and Pontiac Firebirds. Constructed from robust 1.250" x .095" DOM steel tubing with precision TIG welds, this panhard bar significantly increases strength and provides crucial rear end adjustment. This component is essential for accurately centering the rear axle after lowering your vehicle, which also facilitates the installation of larger tires. The double adjuster system, featuring left and right-hand threads, allows for easy on-car adjustments without the need to remove the panhard bar. The panhard bar enhances rear stability, controls lateral movement, and reduces overall body flex. Key features include a CNC-machined 4140 heat-treated chrome-moly adjuster and a 4140 chrome-moly threaded tube adapter for superior durability. The construction utilizes OEM hardware and boasts a durable powder coat finish. Designed and manufactured in the USA, this panhard bar can be installed in approximately 20 minutes.
