Each kit features an extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper crafted from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over five pounds. The opposed piston caliper design of the Ksport ProComp kit substantially improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. It also includes stainless-steel brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure for more consistent braking feel. Ksport utilizes a two-piece disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. For applications where extreme heat is a concern, a floating disc option is available to prevent warping and cupping of the braking surface due to thermal stress. This kit features rotors with a unique slot design that effectively reduces braking noise and more rapidly expels gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment to ensure maximum performance. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operation, and slotted rotors, ideal for vehicles with more track use.
