The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle. Each kit includes a lightweight, one-piece caliper constructed from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. The caliper features a differential bore design, CNC machining, and protective grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features also include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM components, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses and prevent warping. The unique slot design on the rotors helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit is designed for the 2008-2012 Honda Accord. It features a 4-piston caliper design and a 330mm rotor diameter. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles primarily used for track driving, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler.
