The caliper incorporates an opposed piston design for enhanced pad wear and rigidity compared to OEM systems. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, stainless-steel brake pad wear plates, and stainless-steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure. The brake lines are constructed from stainless steel to prevent expansion under pressure. The Ksport brake system utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications include a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses and prevent warping from extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor actively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily drivers, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles with more track use. The kit includes all necessary components for a comprehensive upgrade.
