These one-piece calipers incorporate aluminum pistons and heavy-duty seals capable of withstanding racetrack temperatures, while an opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear. The outer rotor section can expand and contract independently from the center section, minimizing warping due to heat buildup. Center sections made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum act as effective heat sinks. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors offer increased bite and are recommended for track use. Standard equipment includes SC5 Street Pads, known for their reduced dust and noise, with an option to upgrade to RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions. The kit also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer feel. Caliper brackets are CNC machined from carbon steel to allow for direct bolt-on installation to OEM mounting points.
