This open air intake is engineered to minimize air restriction and flow better than stock. It comes with a massive, highly-efficient dry cleanable air filter and features a black powder coated steel cage for protection. The intake tube has a huge diameter to allow for increased airflow to the engine. It includes an innovative insert to work with the MAF sensor parameters of a stock truck, and removing this insert may cause the truck to drive poorly and display a check engine light. An added black zinc plated support bracket stabilizes the intake tube and filter assembly. The kit is designed to avoid check engine lights by maintaining proper airflow mapping of the Mass Air Flow Sensor.
