Openport 1.3U USB ECU Reflash Cable

The Tactrix Openport 1.3U is a versatile universal USB datalogging and ECU reflash tuning cable designed to communicate with a wide array of vehicles. It is particularly noted for its high-speed datalogging capabilities for Mitsubishi Evo7, Evo8, and Evo9 models, and is the only cable offering AYC/ACD logging support for these vehicles. This tuning tool utilizes a 72Mhz 32-bit processor and a USB 2.0 full-speed interface, with field-upgradeable software. It supports major OBD protocols including CAN 2.0 (CAN/ISO15765) and K-line (ISO9141/ISO14230(KWP2000)/dual K line). The Openport 1.3U offers J2534 PassThru support with a Windows DLL and can perform standalone datalogging to a microSD or microSDHC card without requiring a laptop. Power output options include 5V-25V to specific OBD pins or an AUX 2.5mm stereo connector. The Openport 1.3U supports datalogging for 1994-2007 Mitsubishi EFI ECUs (MUTII/III) and 1999-2007 Subaru EFI ECUs (SSMII). It also enables 1995-2007 Any Make/Model OBDII EFI ECU datalogging and provides diagnostic trouble code reading for 1996-2007 vehicles. For ECUFlash tuning, it is compatible with Evo7/8/9, 3rd Gen Mitsubishi (2001-2005), 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse AT, various Subaru DBW models (2004-2007), and select 2001-2005 Subaru Impreza WRX/STI models (including USDM variants for WRX). Special consideration is given for Subaru vehicles, where certain WRX models (2001-2005) may require an additional reflash adapter, while most other Subaru models and STis do not. Mitsubishi vehicles, particularly pre-CAN models like the 5-9 Evo, may also necessitate a specific reflash adapter. It is important to note that the Openport 1.3U is NOT compatible with certain applications, including: Reflashing Evo10, Reflashing Evo5/6/6.5TME, datalogging for Mitsubishi Diesel Vehicles, datalogging for Mitsubishi Evo1-3, datalogging/resetting AirBag SRS, and CANBus communications for 2008-2020 Vehicles. The device is designed for 12-volt systems, with support for 24-volt vehicles planned for a future hardware revision.
