Openport 2.0 ECU Reflash Tool

The Tactrix Openport 2.0 is a tuning tool hardware device designed to communicate with most OBDII compliant vehicles using a standard J2534 interface. When used in combination with EcuFlash software, it provides the capability to reflash a large number of Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles, with support for additional platforms currently in development. Technically, the unit features a 72Mhz 32-bit processor and a USB 2.0 full-speed interface. It supports major OBD protocols including CAN 2.0 (CAN/ISO15765) and K-line (ISO9141/ISO14230/dual K line). The device allows for standalone datalogging to microSD or microSDHC cards without the need for a laptop, and it includes RGB status LEDs for operation monitoring. Every unit is designed, manufactured, and tested in San Francisco, USA. While a USB cable is included with each purchase, certain vehicle applications require a separate reflash adapter. A reflash adapter is specifically required for 2001-2005 Subaru WRX models (excluding STi models) and most pre-CAN Mitsubishi vehicles, such as the Evo 5-9. No reflash adapters are needed for other Subaru models, including the Forester, Baja, Legacy, or naturally aspirated Impreza variants. Note that the device is designed for 12-volt vehicle systems and is not compatible with 24-volt systems.
