Openport 2.0 J2534 Tuning Tool

The Tactrix Openport 2.0 is a versatile tuning tool hardware designed to interface with most OBDII compliant vehicles. It operates as a J2534 interface, allowing for ECU diagnostics, datalogging, and reflashing. When paired with Tactrix's EcuFlash software, it is capable of reflashing a significant number of newer Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles, with continued development to support additional car makes and models. This device is engineered with a 72Mhz 32-bit processor and utilizes USB 2.0 full-speed for connectivity, including a USB-A/Mini cable. Its software is field-upgradeable, ensuring it can be updated as needed. The Openport 2.0 supports major OBD protocols, including CAN 2.0 (CAN/ISO15765) and K-line (ISO9141/ISO14230(KWP2000)/dual K line). It also provides J2534 PassThru support via a Windows DLL. A key feature is its standalone datalogging capability, allowing users to save logs directly to a microSD or microSDHC card without the need for a laptop. The device can apply GND or 5V-25V to specific OBD pins (1,3,9,11,12,13) or its AUX 2.5mm stereo connector. It can also log data from the Innovate Motorsports 2.5mm stereo MTS data bus. Status indicators are provided via RGB LEDs. Designed, manufactured, assembled, and tested in San Francisco, USA, the Openport 2.0 supports 12-volt vehicles, with future hardware revisions planned to include 24-volt support. Some specific vehicles may require separate reflash adapters, such as for certain Subaru WRX models (2001-2005) and pre-CAN Mitsubishi vehicles like the 5-9 Evo.
