Openport 2.0 OBDII Tuning Tool

The Tactrix Openport 2.0 is a versatile tuning tool designed to communicate with a wide array of OBDII compliant vehicles via a standard J2534 interface. This hardware, when paired with Tactrix's EcuFlash software, enables the reflashing of numerous Subaru and Mitsubishi models, with ongoing development to expand compatibility to other makes and models. Under the hood, the Openport 2.0 boasts a 72Mhz 32-bit processor for efficient communication, a USB 2.0 full-speed connection, and field-upgradeable software. It supports critical OBD protocols including CAN 2.0 (CAN/ISO15765) and K-line variants (ISO9141/ISO14230/dual K line). For advanced users, it offers J2534 PassThru support with a Windows DLL, enabling standalone datalogging to a microSD card without the need for a laptop. The device also provides power output capabilities (GND or 5V-25V) to specific OBD pins or an AUX connector, and can log data from Innovate Motorsports MTS streams. Included with each OpenPort 2.0 is a USB cable. However, certain vehicles may require separate reflash adapters for specific models. Subaru vehicles from 2001-2005 WRX (excluding STi) and some early non-USDM STi models may need an adapter. Other Subaru models like Forester, Baja, Legacy, and naturally aspirated Imprezas do not require an adapter. For Mitsubishi, adapters are necessary for most pre-CAN vehicles, including the 5-9 Evo. These adapters can be selected from a dropdown menu. Designed, manufactured, assembled, and tested in San Francisco, USA, the Openport 2.0 supports 12-volt vehicles, with future hardware revisions planned for 24-volt support.
