Openport 2.0 OBDII Tuning Tool

The Tactrix Openport 2.0 is a versatile tuning tool designed to communicate with most OBDII compliant vehicles through a standard J2534 interface. This hardware, when paired with Tactrix's EcuFlash software, enables the reflashing of a wide array of Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles, with ongoing support for other makes and models. It is engineered with a 72MHz 32-bit processor and a USB 2.0 full-speed connection, ensuring efficient data transfer. Technical specifications highlight its capabilities, including support for CAN 2.0 (CAN/ISO15765) and K-line (ISO9141/ISO14230/dual K line) protocols. The Openport 2.0 supports J2534 PassThru with a Windows DLL and offers standalone data logging to a microSD/microSDHC card, eliminating the need for a laptop during logging. It can apply GND or 5V-25V to specific OBD pins and the AUX connector, and can also log data from the Innovate Motorsports 2.5mm stereo MTS data bus. RGB status LEDs provide visual feedback. While the Openport 2.0 is designed for 12-volt vehicles, a future hardware revision is planned to support 24-volt systems. Specific reflash adapters may be required for certain Subaru models (2001-2005 WRX, early non-USDM STi) and Mitsubishi vehicles (pre-CAN, including Evo 5-9). These adapters are available separately.
