Openport 2.0 OBDII Tuning Tool

The Tactrix Openport 2.0 is a tuning tool hardware device capable of communicating with most OBDII compliant vehicles via a standard J2534 interface. When combined with EcuFlash software, it allows for reflashing a significant number of newer Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles, with ongoing development for broader car support. This device features a 72Mhz 32-bit processor and USB 2.0 full-speed connectivity, with a USB-A/Mini cable included. It supports field upgradeable software and common OBD protocols including CAN 2.0 (CAN/ISO15765) and K-line (ISO9141/ISO14230/dual K line). The Openport 2.0 also offers standalone datalogging capabilities to a microSD/microSDHC card without needing a laptop. Additional technical details include the ability to apply GND or 5V-25V to specific OBD pins or an AUX 2.5mm stereo connector, and logging from Innovate Motorsports MTS data bus. For certain vehicles, separate reflash adapters may be required. For Subaru, this includes the 2001 through 2005 WRX models (but not STi, unless it's an early non-USDM STi). For Mitsubishi, an adapter is needed for most pre-CAN vehicles, such as the 5-9 Evo. The product supports 12-volt vehicles, with future hardware revisions planned to support 24-volt systems. Designed, manufactured, assembled, and tested in San Francisco, USA, the Openport 2.0 is a robust tool for ECU diagnostics, datalogging, and reflashing. It is important to note that Tactrix has reportedly gone out of business, and this product is discontinued. Chinese clones are not recommended due to the risk they pose to expensive ECUs.
