This kit features lightweight, 6-piston calipers crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering unparalleled strength and corrosion resistance. The calipers incorporate aluminum pistons for superior heat management. The opposed piston design optimizes pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to standard OEM setups. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, which provide optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more) and noise compared to race pads, while minimizing rotor wear, operating effectively between 194°F - 1022°F. The kit also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. All Ksport Big Brake kits utilize CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets, allowing for direct bolt-on installation to your OEM caliper bracket locations. The kit is built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
