Optimized Stock Tune Only for EFI Live Spade LBZ (2006-2007)

Our Optimized Stock Custom Tune is emissions intact, meaning you do not need to remove any emissions equipment. It is 50 State Legal (SPADE Tuning, Part No. #11-11, E.O. No. D-845). This tune offers slight revisions to the factory calibration with no significant increase in peak power and lower smoke output. It is good for troubleshooting a physical problem with your truck and great for when someone else drives your truck. It's also suitable if you've installed a custom intake or upgrade requiring tuning but are not seeking more power.

This tune benefits individuals who are new to tuning, cautious about its effects, or those who do not need more power. It is also for those interested in transmission tuning only, or for setting a custom tire size to eliminate issues with TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). You can tow with this tune, but it will not provide the benefits of light or heavy tow tune power and torque gains.

Required Options:
SPADE / EFI Live Autocal v3 is required. SPADE (Standalone Programming And Diagnostic Equipment), also known as EFILive AutoCal V3, is a simple-to-use, handheld OBD flashing (programming) hardware. It can scan and log engine data for troubleshooting and diagnostics, flash an unlimited number of updates for your truck, and flash multiple trucks with the same device. Individual tunes and licenses are required for each new truck, with up to 600 VIN slots available. An EFiLive License is included when purchasing hardware from us. If you already have the hardware from another vehicle, you will need an additional license, and the Serial Number and Auth Code for your device will be required.

Recommended Transmission Tuning:
TCM Tuning works with ECM Tuning to provide smooth shifting and superior drive-ability. It is required for the best possible drive-ability, improves clutch holding capacity with increased line pressure, and offers an advanced torque converter lock-up strategy. TCM Tuning is the best tool to ensure your engine is operating within its preferred rev range. It is especially important for trucks with custom ECM Tuning, larger tires (35+), modified turbo(s), built transmission, or any modification that impacts operating RPMs. For towing and performance, it allows you to use the wider torque curve provided by ECM Tuning, keep your truck in its power-band when lugging up a grade, provides quicker shifts for less time between gears and more power to the ground, and optimizes your aftermarket performance parts. For ZF6 Manual Transmission, while there is no electronic controller to calibrate, the ECM Tuning is built to work specifically with them, bringing power on in the throttle pedal for smooth shifting and more power.
