The EBC Orangestuff 9000 Series brake pads are a full-race material engineered for demanding track conditions, suitable for intermediate to expert drivers. Constructed from a proprietary stainless steel blend, these pads offer a higher friction coefficient compared to standard heat-treated stainless steel found on stock discs. This material innovation results in up to a 10% improvement in friction effect, significantly enhancing braking capabilities on the track. These pads feature deep 'V' grooves, a characteristic of EBC's race-oriented designs, which help to dissipate heat and gas, further contributing to consistent performance under extreme conditions.
