The G2 Original Brake Caliper Paint System is a comprehensive kit engineered to provide a durable and attractive finish for your vehicle's brake calipers. This two-part epoxy paint is formulated for high-gloss, wear resistance, and exceptional heat tolerance, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 980 degrees Fahrenheit. It offers robust protection against common automotive contaminants like brake fluid, road salt, dust, and dirt, ensuring a lasting, vibrant appearance. Each kit includes all necessary components for application, such as a high-performance aerosol caliper cleaner, mixing can, stirrer, application brush, instructions, and a color decal. The paint has a working time of 4-6 hours once the reactor is mixed, and proper preparation by cleaning and masking the calipers is crucial for optimal adhesion and finish. Please note that the included aerosol cleaner cannot be shipped to APO, AK, HI, PR, Guam, or international destinations; it will be removed for such shipments without a discount. The kit contains approximately 3.5 liquid oz. of paint and 0.5 liquid oz. of reactor, yielding 4 liquid oz. total when mixed, sufficient for four standard brake calipers or two drums. For oversized calipers or additional components like brackets, two kits may be necessary. The G2 system's colors are not designed to precisely match OEM or other aftermarket colors unless specifically noted (e.g., Limited Edition Mustang Colors), and free color swatches are available upon request.
