The OS Giken Super Lock LSD is a high-performance limited-slip differential for street and racing. It features up to 28 friction plates and a patented lock timing system for complete, progressive, smooth, and quiet lock. Its design includes a miniaturized pressure ring and a spline-through-side-gear design for more friction plates and true 100% lock capability. The patented pressure ring ensures smooth, progressive locking. The LSD case has a relief cut-out for the cone spring, minimizing degradation and enhancing durability. All components are chemically heat-treated, made from high-grade steel alloy, and gears are raw-forged. Clutch disks are precision-machined. The LSD case is machined from a single billet piece. It offers low preload while retaining 100% lock capability, feeling like an open differential in slow turns but transmitting maximum power under load. It operates quietly and requires no break-in or rebuild. The LSD is tunable for initial torque, lock progression timing, and ramp angles. Spec-X and TCD (Traction Control Differential) options are available.
