The ACDelco 45A0317 is an outer steering tie rod end, part of the ACDelco Gold Professional line, designed to meet GM expectations for fit, form, and function. The heat-treated forgings enhance its overall strength, while induction hardening ensures it matches Original Equipment (OE) fatigue life specifications. This tie rod end is constructed with a full ball stud, providing smooth articulation and excellent durability. A dust boot is included to protect the internal components from contaminants, extending the service life of the part. The E-coated finish provides corrosion resistance, and the tie rod material is steel. Manufactured at TS 16949-certified facilities, the ACDelco 45A0317 undergoes extreme impact, wear, and fatigue testing to ensure quality and durability. It is pre-greased and features a tapered, threaded stud type. Greaseable where applicable, this allows for flushing contaminants and reducing corrosion and wear.
