The Outerwears 20-1066-01 is a water-repellent pre-filter designed to enhance the efficiency of performance or exposed air filters. Constructed from a proprietary polyester mesh with uniform micron openings, it filters debris down to 0.005 inches. This pre-filter is UV resistant, shatterproof in freezing temperatures, and heat resistant up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. It also features puncture resistance and elasticity, allowing the threads to return to their original position if impacted. The seams are either welded or reinforced with industrial-grade thread for added strength and durability. Available in multiple colors, this universal fit pre-filter helps deflect damaging debris like sand that can clog air filters, potentially compromising airflow and horsepower, while also extending the time between filter servicing intervals.
