Oval Shifter Bushing Kit

The Garagistic E39 M5/540 Oval Shifter Bushing Kit offers a complete solution to refresh your factory shifter assembly, addressing worn components that lead to a mushy or imprecise feel. By replacing the original rubber bushings, which often degrade over time, and the soft OEM rear bushing, this kit effectively eliminates side-to-side movement of the aluminum shift carrier. The design ensures that these new bushings, fitted at the front and rear of the carrier, improve shifter feel without increasing cabin vibration or harshness. For optimal results, Garagistic also recommends replacing the factory selector joint and upgrading the selector rod to a DSSR. The kit includes the Garagistic Polyurethane Rear Carrier Bushing, Garagistic Oval Shifter Bushings (Delrin or Aluminum), and an OEM shifter cup.
