The Accufab Racing CTB2003ONLY is a single blade throttle body designed to replace the restrictive stock twin blade unit. It is specifically made for the 2003-2004 4.6L Mustang Cobra. This throttle body is CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a polished finish.

The Accufab Oval Throttle Body is a high-performance component engineered specifically for the 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra. This unit replaces the restrictive stock throttle body, significantly increasing airflow potential. The Accufab throttle body boasts a flow rate of 1696 cfm, a substantial upgrade from the stock 1089 cfm. Constructed with exceptional quality, this throttle body features a CNC-machined 356 billet aluminum body with a polished finish. Internally, it utilizes CNC-machined stainless steel shafts, durable brass blades, and premium bushings and bearings to ensure longevity and smooth operation. It includes an air passage slot for idle air control purposes, which aligns with a corresponding machined slot on compatible inlets. Using the throttle body alone with the stock inlet is not recommended due to airflow restrictions and potential clearance issues with the single blade. Accufab states that the combination of their throttle body and power inlet has shown rear-wheel horsepower gains of 10 to 25 HP and dramatic torque improvements across the entire power range when dyno tested. It is important to note that if your vehicle is equipped with a KenneBell or Whipple supercharger featuring a mono-blade opening, this "throttle body only" version is the correct choice.
