Over-the-Radiator Cold Air Intake Kit

The VCM KVE-900-1 Over-The-Radiator (OTR) cold air intake kit is engineered to significantly boost horsepower and improve throttle response by optimizing airflow. Its ram-air design pulls cooler air from over the radiator, leading to greater power gains. This updated design features a revised PCV line setup that is located after the MAF sensor, preventing lean code errors. The injection-molded housing separates for easy filter maintenance and provides an airtight seal. Installation is straightforward, taking about 45 minutes with basic hand tools, though it requires tilting the radiator back slightly using the included mounting brackets. This kit is compatible with aftermarket MAFs and throttle bodies, though aftermarket silicone couplers may be necessary. Specific couplers are available for Magnuson superchargers and MAF-less setups, sold separately. The MAF-less version includes the required couplers for eliminating the factory MAF and necessitates a custom speed-density tune.
