Description

These H-Series bearings are designed for competition engines (NASCAR-type racing) but are suitable for all high-performance applications. They feature medium eccentricity, high crush, a hardened steel back, and a thin overlay, made without flash plating for better seating. Some bearings are narrowed (HN suffix) for increased crankshaft fillet clearance. "HX" suffix indicates 0.001 inch extra clearance for standard-size shafts. Rod bearings are available with or without dowel holes (HD/H), and main bearings with 180-degree (H) or 360-degree (HG) grooving. Use with crankshafts that have oversize fillets and in medium to high RPM range engines. Recommended if P-Series parts show narrow contact patterns; ideal contact covers 2/3 to 3/4 of the bearing surface. H-Series is a good starting choice for performance bearings.
