The Clevite H-Series Rod Bearings for the Ford 4.6L / 5.4L are an excellent choice for all High Performance Builds. We use them in practically every engine we build. Suggested for use will all Forged Crankshafts, Forced Induction Applications or any Engine with 500HP or more. *Sold as a set of 8. HC-Series bearings were developed primarily for high performance applications and all types of competition engines. HC-Series bearings have a proprietary .0003” dry film treatment applied to the bearings’ surface. The dry film coating increases the seizure resistance 115% over conventional H-Series bearings. The coating serves as an anti-wear agent providing additional protection across the broad range of temperatures, especially when oil flow is marginal or in cases of high load, high pressure or start-up when oil film is minimized.
