The Malossi FLY CLUTCH Kit serves as a complete rear transmission upgrade for Piaggio mopeds equipped with a variator system. Key components include a 102mm diameter fixed pulley with nitride hardening for exceptional durability, and a 102mm diameter, 15° Torque Driver welded to a specially designed hub with an EKU self-lubricating bushing for smooth operation and minimal wear. Further enhancing the system are a heat-treated variator contrast spring made from high-carbon silicon-alloy steel, dynamically balanced for specific applications. The Fly Clutch itself utilizes three new clutch shoes with the Fly Malossi system, coupled with Malossi springs to engage at an optimal RPM hook-in point. The assembled fixed hub, the core structural element, is TIG welded to tight tolerances and features increased diameter pivot pins for shoe alignment and needle bearings for rigidity, along with oil seals for a lubricated environment. This kit is intended for vehicles with variators. Malossi advises that these products are reserved exclusively for racing in specifically designed locations according to the provisions of the competent sporting authorities, and they disclaim all liability for improper use.
