The Tomei Oversized Oil Pan is engineered to provide enhanced lubrication stability for SR20DE and SR20DET engines, commonly found in Nissan S-Chassis vehicles like the PS13, S14, and S15. Its primary function is to prevent oil starvation during high-performance driving scenarios such as sharp turns, aggressive acceleration, and hard braking. By increasing the oil capacity by an additional 600cc over stock, this pan ensures a consistent and adequate oil supply to critical engine components, even under extreme stress. This oil pan features a carefully designed baffle plate, developed through Tomei's extensive racing heritage, to maintain stable oil lubrication. Unlike stock baffles, which may be undersized for cost-saving and insufficient for race conditions, Tomei's baffle ensures that oil is always drawn into the pickup tube, preventing air ingestion and maintaining continuous lubrication.
