OXYGEN SENSOR

The Walker Products Inc. 250-54063 is a 4-wire air/fuel ratio oxygen sensor with a threaded mounting type. Located in the exhaust system, the O2 sensor measures oxygen levels in exhaust gases and sends this information to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to optimize the air-fuel mixture for better performance and reduced emissions.

This sensor helps the ECU maintain the correct air-fuel ratio, signaling when the engine is running too rich or too lean. This continuous feedback leads to more efficient combustion, improved fuel economy, and lower emissions. The sensor features a zirconium dioxide (zirconia) ceramic element with gas-permeable platinum electrodes.
