The ProCharger 1GY202-SCI is a high output intercooled supercharger tuner kit engineered for 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS vehicles featuring the 6.2L LT1 engine. Built with a P-1SC-1 head unit, this system utilizes a dedicated billet bracket design that attaches at strategic points on the motor to ensure maximum structural integrity without requiring the removal of any OEM components. The system features a 3-core air-to-air intercooler and preformed-silicone charge tubing designed to maximize airflow while minimizing pressure drop and vibration. As a tuner kit, this package requires professional installation and custom tuning by a qualified tuning shop. Unlike complete systems, this kit does not include the factory handheld programmer or predefined calibration files, making it suitable for owners intending to push performance envelopes through modifications like alternative fuels, headers, or internal engine changes. Proper operation depends on the end-user ensuring that all related engine management settings are adjusted for the forced induction setup. This setup supports the 7 psi boost level out of the box and is capable of scaling to support much higher horsepower builds when combined with other modifications. Note that this system is not legal for sale or use in California and is strictly for off-road or sanctioned racing applications.
