The ProCharger P-1SC High Output Supercharger Kit (PC-1FX012-P1SC) is engineered for 1985-1993 5.0L Ford Mustang models, offering a significant power upgrade. This tuner kit features the P-1SC self-contained supercharger head unit with a satin finish and an 8-rib drive system. ProCharger's P-1SC head units are known for their advanced technology, including a patented self-contained oiling design, high step-up ratio, exclusive billet impellers, and durable billet gearcases. This kit provides the essential supercharger head unit, piping, and mounting bracketry required for a basic installation. However, it is important to note that this is a tuner kit and does not include fuel components, electronic components, or a handheld tuning device. Custom dyno tuning is mandatory for the system to operate correctly. The product requires 91 octane or higher fuel and professional installation is recommended. Technical notes from the manufacturer state that all engine and exhaust modifications must be noted at the time of order. ProCharger is not responsible for boost levels or the quality of the tune on modified applications. Vehicles built for export or non-US spec models may also require custom tuning. Due to variability in OEM computers and custom modifications, dyno tuning is often necessary. Kits are built to order with a lead time of 10 to 14 business days.
