The ProCharger 1FQ212-SCI Stage II Intercooled System is engineered to deliver substantial performance enhancements for 2005-2010 Ford Mustang V6 4.0L models. This kit aims to provide V8 performance without the associated V6 fuel economy and insurance costs, with claims of up to 45-70% more power and a 2-second improvement in 0-60 times. When running on 91 octane pump gas with a stock 4.0L engine, it can produce nearly 400 HP. The system features the patented, self-contained P-1SC ProCharger head unit with a satin finish. It includes a dedicated 8-rib drive system for superior performance and a highly effective 2-core air-to-air intercooler designed to reduce charge air temperatures. This intercooling helps prevent detonation and allows for more ignition timing, resulting in greater power per pound of boost. This is a Tuner Kit, intended for users who plan to perform custom tuning and experiment with alternative fuels like 93 octane, race fuel, E85, or methanol. It may require additional engine component changes such as heads, headers, exhaust, and cams. Professional installation is recommended due to the mechanical expertise required. The system requires 91 octane or higher fuel. Additionally, due to OEM computer variability and potential custom modifications, dyno tuning may be required, especially for vehicles with stock engines and cat-back exhaust systems. An ECM code may also be required.
