Description

The Reid Racing, Inc. PGH1R tailshaft housing is designed to fit both the REID Superglide and stock GM Powerglide transmissions. It is 5 times stronger than stock, weighs only 4-1/2 pounds, and is a bolt-in replacement with the same length and crossmember mounting flange as stock. It features a double lip seal and a relocated vent. This model uses a needle roller bearing and requires a modified stock driveshaft yoke or special hardened undersize yoke. No speedometer cable provision is supplied.
