The Clevite MS-2328P-STD P-Series main bearing set is engineered for engines anticipating more demanding use, including heavy-duty, motorsports, or street performance applications. These bearings are constructed from a Tri-Metal material, which includes cast copper-lead, providing increased fatigue strength. This design makes them a suitable upgrade from traditional Bi-Metal engine bearings due to their enhanced load capacity. This P-Series bearing set is considered the most versatile replacement and is suitable for most OE applications. The material composition, particularly the cast copper-lead, is noted for increasing fatigue strength. The bearings are available in standard size, as well as 0.500 mm (or .50MM) undersize options, to accommodate various engine rebuilding needs. These main bearings are specifically designed for Dodge vehicles equipped with the 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins engine. Fitment includes 1989-2017 Dodge models and 1989-2024 Dodge Ram trucks. Additionally, they are compatible with 1989-2012 Dodge models featuring the 5.9L/6.7L Cummins engine.
