Overview

The Sprint P08 is a high-performance air filter designed for select BMW motorcycles. It features a reinforced polyurethane frame for easier installation and a single-layer polyester filtering material used in MotoGP and WSBK racing. The P08 material allows for consistent airflow, optimized filter surface area, and increased air permeability compared to cotton filters.

This air filter provides enhanced filtration with a rating of 80μm and an airflow of 5,050 l/m²/sec. It is a dry filter, requiring no oil treatments, and can be cleaned using only compressed air. It offers direct OEM replacement and comes with a 1-year warranty.

The Sprint P08 is a high-performance air filter engineered for select BMW S1000RR, M1000RR, and S1000XR models. This advanced filtering material allows for consistent airflow and superior filtration, boasting an airflow rate of 5,050 l/m²/sec and a filtration efficiency of 80μm. Compared to traditional cotton air filters, the P08 offers increased air permeability and higher filtration efficiency, retaining 93.13% of 100μ particles. The filter is designed with an optimized surface area to maximize airflow, contributing to potential gains in power and throttle response. The filtering element is supported by steel wire mesh treated with an epoxy varnish for enhanced durability and resistance to fuel fumes and moisture. Maintenance of the Sprint P08 is simplified, as it is a dry filter and requires no oil treatments. Cleaning can be performed using only compressed air, eliminating the need for washing and drying associated with cotton filters. For exceptionally dirty filters, a mild detergent can be used, followed by a clean water rinse and air drying. The filter is a direct OEM replacement, ensuring a straightforward installation process. The P08 filter is designed to provide a consistent flow of filtered air, reducing turbulence for the engine. Dyno testing on a 1000cc 4-cylinder bike without control unit remapping indicated an increase of 2.5 HP in the mid-range of the power curve. The filter is backed by a 1-year warranty.
