P08 Street Performance Air Filter

The Sprint Filter PM147S P08 Street Performance Air Filter is engineered for Aprilia RSV4 motorcycles, offering an innovative alternative to traditional cotton gauze or oiled foam filters. It features a proprietary polyester material with a filtering membrane made of woven synthetic threads, allowing for a calibrated and constant flow of air. This filter boasts a larger filtering surface area compared to other aftermarket filters due to its specialized polyester, enabling a tighter pleat step and greater height. It can sieve out 93.13% of 100-micron particles, significantly more than cotton filters. The P08 is a dry filter, meaning it requires no oil treatments, and cleaning is as simple as blowing it out with compressed air. Sprint Filter's experience from top-level racing, including MotoGP and Superbike championships, has informed the development of their street line. The P08 filter is suitable for both original (stock) bikes, where it can lead to fuel savings and potential performance advantages without needing ECU mapping changes, and for race use. In certified tests, replacing a stock Honda CBR 1000 RR air filter with a P08 resulted in a 2.5 hp gain. For race applications, the P08 filter offers lower load losses in the airbox compared to multi-layer cotton and sponge filters, especially at higher speeds.
