The 3M 340D Sanding Belt is a coated abrasive belt designed for woodworking. It features an aluminum oxide abrasive material with an open coat construction on an X-weight cloth backing. The belt is resin bonded for heat resistance and has a P100, fine grit.

This 3-inch by 24-inch belt is specifically recommended for general-purpose use, particularly on soft woods.
