The Rockford Fosgate P1462 is a 4"x6" 2-way coaxial speaker designed as a factory replacement. It features an injection molded mineral-filled polypropylene cone and a butyl rubber surround for durability. The P1462 includes an integrated concealed crossover (ICC) and comes with an OEM adapter plate for easier installation. These speakers are sold in pairs and are CEA-2031 compliant.

The Rockford Fosgate P1462 is a 4"x6" 2-way full-range speaker engineered to be a quality replacement for factory speakers. It boasts an injection-molded, mineral-filled polypropylene cone paired with a butyl rubber surround for robust performance and longevity. The integrated concealed crossover (ICC) system simplifies installation by eliminating the need for separate crossover boxes. The P1462 utilizes a PEI dome tweeter for clear high-frequency reproduction and features a Flex Fit™ basket designed to accommodate factory speaker locations that may have odd shapes. Mounting hardware, including a 6"x8" adapter plate, is included to aid in installation. These speakers are rated for 35 watts RMS and 70 watts maximum power handling, with a sensitivity of 90 dB and a frequency response from 90 Hz to 22 kHz. The nominal impedance is 4-Ohm, and they are CEA-2031 compliant. While designed for broad compatibility, one user reported difficulty fitting these speakers into the dash of an '02 S10 due to their depth. Another forum discussion indicated that 4x6 speakers might not fit in certain applications due to driver differences, with a specific mention of the Infinity 64cfx fitting the 4x6 slot in some cases.
