This autopilot system for marine vessels features a sunlight viewable, high-contrast QVGA (320 x 240) high-resolution TFT LCD. It offers a universal mount for fixed station autopilot installations (surface, flush, or bracket). The Intelligent Steering Technology (IST) provides automatic self-learning to continuously improve steering. Auto Setup allows selection of boat type and automatically calibrates drive and compass detection for immediate results. It has automatic sea state adjustment with manual override, and quick turn selections including CIRCLE, U-TURN, Emergency MOB (Williamson Recovery turn), and FISH ZAG. The control head is waterproof to commercial grade IP67 standards and features a simple 8-button illuminated keypad. Advanced power features include automatic helm bias, automatic leeway control, and automatic thruster assist. Proportional Rate Control (PRC) provides smooth response at fast cruising speeds.
